Theater

Theodoros Limitsios’s relationship with theatre began early in his life and grew into one of the central pillars of his artistic journey. From his first steps on stage to his current work in Vienna, theatre has been a space where he has been able to express himself, create, and collaborate with people who share his passion for the stage.

In Greece, he took part in theatre productions while also collaborating on television projects and other artistic ventures. The theatrical experience he gained over the years laid the foundation for his subsequent career as an actor and director.

In 2011, when he settled in Vienna, theatre took on a new dimension. He founded the Greek theatre company “…zur Sonne” (“Towards the Sun”), with the aim of creating and presenting Greek theatre productions to Austrian audiences, while also maintaining a living connection with the Greek language and culture.

As an actor, director, and artistic director, he has been involved in the creation and presentation of a variety of theatre productions, continually exploring how a work can connect with its audience without losing its essence.

For him, the stage is more than a place where a story is told. It is a living space of encounter, where actor meets audience, text becomes action, and a story comes to life anew each time it is performed.

His theatrical journey continues to this day, bridging Greece and Austria through performances, collaborations, and new creative ventures.

Some of the milestones along this journey are captured in the photographs below.
